Loving Winter

Look at him go!
The magic carpet. Britton was great at getting on and off the carpet. He rode this the first few times down the hill.
Britton has been playing hockey and loves it, but we're not willing to devote as much time as it takes for him to be really competitive, so this weekend we introduced Britton to skiing. We're hoping to wean him off of hockey and on to skiing.

At first Britton was really clingy and he fell once and wanted to go home. We told him that wasn't an option and convinced him to try one more time. The day was really foggy and then all of the sudden the clouds cleared, and at the same time, Britton's attitude changed, he got his confidence and he decided he loved skiing! He got good at it really fast and in no time he was ready for the real chair lift and he was challenging us to a race to the bottom! He is awesome! I wish I had his confidence and athletic ability. He's amazing!

That's awesome! He did way better than Spencer. We'll probably have to get our boys lessons so they'll actually stand by themselves. Glad you had fun!

So much fun! Our kids haven't been skiing, but Mitchell is going in a couple of weeks with Jeremy and the rest of the fifth grade. Fun!
