We went Camping at Bruneau Sand Dunes for Easter this year. We had no idea we would have every season in one weekend! It started off with snow. By the time we reached Mountain Home, there was heavy snow but when we got to the campground, there was only rain. It rained really hard all night. We were starting to think we were crazy for even trying to go camping. When we woke up in the morning, it was sunny! We ate breakfast and headed for the Dunes! We all had a great time. The boys brought sleds and we slid down the dunes and built sand castles. We also tried out Britton's remote controlled boat that he got for Christmas. It was a big hit. Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Kurt joined us at lunch time and we went to visit the owls that build nests in the campground each year. We also did a nice hike through the desert. As the day went on, it got colder and windier, but it was still nice enough to dye Easter eggs and play with other families in the campground. Sunday morning the boys woke up to find that the Easter bunny had visited the trailer so the boys had fun gathering eggs and eating candy. It was a good way to kick off the camping season!
