We arrived in Donnelly and our trailer was there with the man that pulled it up there. He couldn't get the trailer quite as far over as we wanted but we figured it would be ok. However, he kind of backed himself into a corner. He was very confident, however, that his truck would be able to get out. Oh, did we mention that our lot has a LOT of water on it and was very muddy. Yep, the guy got stuck. Very stuck. So stuck that we had to call an excavator out to get the guys truck out. So. Much. Fun.!
We made it through the night and Caden hadn't been sick anymore so we thought all was well. We drove into McCall to meet some friends for breakfast. Our friends had just arrived when Caden started not looking so good. As he started vomiting again I scooped him up and ran him outside. Luckily we came out of it pretty good. We both took off our coats and I took off Caden's pants and added it to our growing pile of puke laundry in the van. Then I took Caden back inside. The old couple behind us were not very happy to see him again. They were the only ones who saw what happened...As we got back in the restaurant, our cinnamon roll arrived. Caden was thrilled. You would never have thought the kid had just thrown up. He ate a bunch and was happy as could be. We were able to make it back to Boise without any more sickness. Visiting our land in Donnelly can only get better from here....
Getting unstuck
Oh, did I mention it snowed overnight?
