We just got back from the Best Vacation in San Diego! We went a little picture crazy and took over 700 pictures and videos. We put about 75-80 of them in our slide shows below. Our first night we went to Medieval Times and cheered for the yellow night. Britton was really into it. Benjamin liked the crowns. Saturday we went on a harbor cruise and visited the USS Midway. We also went to the Scripps aquarium. It was a big day. The next day was the zoo. The zoo is huge and we walked a lot. Britton says the frogs were his favorite. He was really disapointed that they didn't have penguins but we promised him they would have them at Sea World. Monday was Legoland! It's the bravery training grounds for kids! Nothing goes too fast and they have great rides for little kids. Britton had a great time and rode on everything, even one roller coaster (which he did NOT like)! Poor Benjamin was too little to ride on just about everything but Legoland had little play areas near the rides where he could play. He actually slept through quite a bit of it. Tuesday we went to Coronado Island and visited the Hotel Del Coronado which we liked but the kids though was boring. But afterward we went to the beach and had a great time in the sand and the sun. Wednesday was a very hot day at the Wild Animal Park. We got to see some pretty cool animals and pet some deer. Dustin's pretty allergic to deer and his eye started to swell after petting them. The pool seemed to fix the swelling. Thursday was Sea World. We had a blast at Sea World. We got soaked by Shamu and really soaked by the dolphins. We were pretty much wet all day. they have some water rides too. Sea World was great because they allow Benjamin to ride on the rides too and they have an awesome jungle gym. We spent part of Friday at Sea World too. We loved the shows and we got to pet dolphins and bat rays! The first part of the day we went to the Model Train Museum (which all the boys loved). We flew home on Saturday but before we left we went to the Firehouse museum and to Old Town San Diego. We flew in late Saturday night. It was a very fun vacation but we're glad to be home too. San Diego is a nice place to visit but we like the change in seasons we get in Idaho. Plus, nothing ever dries in California. I swear my hair was wet all week! Britton said he wanted to live in San Diego until he found out it doesn't snow there. Really, the kids are happy to be home too. We all slept in until 9:00 which is unheard of for us! Britton said he favorite thing on vacation was swimming in the pool. I gues we could have just stayed home, ha, ha.

What a wonderful vacation!
Your kids are soooo big!!! We are moving back in the next 2 months. I can't even believe it!!
That's a awesome trip. You could write your own travel brochet about the place.

PS Luke asked if he could play with britton soon.
Looks like fun. I am inspired to put San Diego on my vacation list! And as always, I love the photos.
