First Day of Preschool 2008!

Today was Britton's first day of preschool for the year. He was really excited to go. He is new to this preschool but he did go to a different one last year. He knows one of the boys in his class so that helps. He also got to eat cupcakes as a snack because it was a "short girl's" birthday. He was really excited about the "note" he brought home too. It was an envelop with things he had colored inside. Britton has become quite the artist. He drew the train in the picture with this blog, complete with people, cargo an engine and a caboose. We're pretty impressed. He aslo drew a dog and a cat, but they didn't make the picture. They are really good too. He's quite a talented little kid. Britton is scary good at Mario Kart for the wii and can beat both Dustin and me. It has become a bit of an obsession so we have had to put a lot of limits on it but I don't think we'll ever be as good as Britton. Benjamin seemed to actually like being an only child for a few hours while Britton was at preschool. He played quietly which is definately not like him. He also had a big day today and passed his hearing test! It was the first time he's passed a hearing test in about six months so we're excited. We're actually a little suprised he passed. He is always sticking things in his ears. We've found gold fish crackers, pretzels, bagels, french fries and chicken nuggets in his right ear before. He only puts things in his right ear. It's really strange. Benjamin also has two new words this week. They are Ketchup (which he thinks is a side dish and should be eaten with everything) and cheese. He makes us laugh. He is also the biggest climbing baby in the world. If we turn our backs for any amount of time we'll find him on top of the computer desk or the kitchen table. Benjamin's walking skills have also been improving. He's getting really fast but he still falls a lot. It's fun to watch. The boys are certainly keeping us busy!

Congrats on passing the hearing test. That must be such a relief!
