Our Ice Skater!

Dinosaur stance

pretend to be a dog and roll over when you fall (there were a lot of falls!)

Doing good!

Today Britton started his first skating class. It's a prerequisite for hockey. He was so excited! He woke up bright and early and announced that he got to go skating! A friend told me that knee pads are a good idea, and thank goodness she did! Britton was a little nervous about falling but when we pulled out the knee pads he was excited and went skidding all over the floor on his knees. And we were really happy he had knee pads. He fell a lot! He loved it though and just kept getting back up and skating. The instructor taught them that when they fell they should roll over like a dog, get on their feet like a frog, and when they are standing to pretend to be slow dinosaurs hunched over. We were proud how tough out boy was. We're excited for the rest of his lessons to watch him progress.
