Proud of our Boys!

I know I brag about my boys a lot but they are just so cute and funny and smart! I must say I'm so proud of my Britton. He can read! He can read anything that is phonetic and we're working on some of the rules of reading to read some other words. So far he knows the "oo" and the "ch" rules. I don't think he's nearly as proud of himself as we are of him though. He'll read for a little while but he gets bored of it pretty quickly. We got him some little easy readers at the library that he can read but he wants to quit about half way through the story. "Duck in Muck" isn't a long story either. Oh well. We're working on making it more fun for him. It's hard to believe that he'll be registering for Kindergarten soon. He's so excited. He can't wait to be 5 so he can ride the bus and go to Kindergarten!


Now for Benjamin. He is just so funny and cute. He thinks he is so big and tries to do everything that Britton does. One of Britton's jobs is to take his plate and put it in the sink when he's done eating. Well, now Benjamin thinks he needs to do the same. The only problem is that he is so short he has to throw his plate in the sink. He does it with gusto though. We give him plastic plates and tell him what a big helper he is. Acey follows behind him to eat any of the yummy leftovers that fall on the floor (and they do). Benajmin's talking a lot more now and is very good at communicating what he wants. He is a little King of our house and bosses everyone around. When he gets in trouble he thinks his world is over but he is always quick to give a hug and cuddle. He's a very sweet, curious and funny baby. We just love our boys!
