Another camping adventure!

Our awesome camping spot. The water was only a few inches deep and was super cold!

Britton really loves to ride.

Cute little Benjer throwing rocks into the stream
Britton was so proud that he could cross the stream on the log
Benjamin with his bug on the bucket
The creepy bug that Benjamin loved so much (Britton really wanted to kill it. He hates bugs. Benjamin loves them!)
We made boats out of water melon rinds. The boys loved them!

Hi mom!
My turn!

This weekend we went camping with some friends. We originally planned to go to Grimes Creek, but we found out it was "Rock the Mountain" weekend, so we knew we wouldn't be able to find a camping spot. But no problem, we figured we would be able to get in at Greyback Gulch. No luck there either. So we just kept driving until we found a spot to stop. All the campgrounds were full but we found an awesome place off the Hwy. At first I was worried because it looked like there wasn't any shade and it was close to the road but once we got out of the cars we found out there were a few camping spots that went back into a really nice, shady area with a great little stream for the kids to play it. It was the perfect spot. The kids could run free and not be in any danger and we all loved hanging out and playing in the water. It was just right! Oh, and did I mention that Dustin bought a 4 wheeler? Well, he did and the boys all had a good time riding around. Although my pictures don't show it, Dustin and the boys did wear a helmet when they left the campground. The little boys actually didn't leave the campground on the 4 wheeler. Dustin and I both had fun talking with our friends and our kids had fun playing in the water and dirt.

Dustin bought a 4 wheeler! Don't tell Dave, I think I've finally talked him out of it! Looks like you had fun!

We had a blast with you guys! We'll definatley have to do it again soon- before the summer is over. Thanks for everything- meals turned out great and we really did have the very best spot!
PS I need to get a copy of that picture with the three little boys on the four wheeler together. I didn't even know that was taken. SO CUTE!
