Right after I got into my room after surgery. I could barely stay awake
Right as I was being wheeled away for surgery. I was on some powerful sedation drugs. I couldn't remember talking to some of the doctors.So I had a hysterectomy on August 18th. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I was only on pain pills for two days. I just have to take it easy for the next couple weeks. Dustin's mom just left this morning to go back home. She had been taking care of the boys and me while I had surgery and started to recover. She really went above and beyond the call of duty. She even cleaned and organized our laundry room! Anyone who has ever seen it would understand what a monumental task this was. My mom is taking over next week. The kids have loved having all of the grandma attention. Benjamin doesn't even ask for me when he wakes up anymore. He asks for Grandma! Dustin was kind enough to take some pictures of me when I was heavily drugged and put them on facebook. He got some good threats and chastisement from friends! I thought I would share them anyway.

I'm glad that your surgery went well and that you are healing. It's so nice that your Mom and Dustin's mom are taking such good care of you.
I had no idea that you were having surgery!! I am glad that it went well. I would like to hear more about it when you have time and/or inclination to chat about it.
Good luck with adopting another little Sweetheart! I am praying that you get a sister!! :)
