We went to Sun Valley for Labor Day weekend. We had a great time! The first night we went swimming and then got some ice cream. We stayed up late watching the Disney channel and then we all went to sleep. A couple hours later Benjamin started whining in his sleep. He whined for about an hour and a half, then sat up and vomited all over the bed. He was pretty horrified about it. It was the first time he had ever thrown up. The bed was pretty gross at this point so I made another bed on the floor and he fell asleep right away. He woke up one more time in the night and was sick again. It was quite the adventurous night. We all woke up the first time Benjamin was sick and Britton woke up and wanted to go down to breakfast. It was only 3:30 a.m. Only Britton would want to eat breakfast while his little brother was covered with vomit! We were just happy everyone got cleaned up fell back asleep. In the morning we were all pretty tired but we went down for breakfast and the boys ate a ton. You would never have known that Benjamin had been sick. Luckily, we didn't have anymore illness on the trip.

Saturday we went to the Wagon Days festival and watched an old West shoot out, followed by the parade. The wagon parade was very cool. After a long day of festivities we went to dinner and went swimming again. Sunday we spent the day at the Wagon Days Duck Race. We got there early so we went over to a skate park and let the boys play on the ramps. They loved it! Then some skateboarders came and we watched them for a little while. We took a walk on a little path and watched some huge fish in the water from a bridge. Once the festivities were ready, the boys jumped in the jump house and played in the rocks by the river. The duck race was a pretty impressive sight. We were all pretty tired by the end of the day and were happy for some dinner and bed. We're all home now and tonight we're having a picnic at the park with Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Kurt. We are officially ready for another week. Benjamin starts preschool on Wednesday and I start teaching again tomorrow. Britton is doing awesome in school and seems to be enjoying himself. His first soccer game is Saturday and we can't wait to watch!
