Today Britton got to run the Capital Classic. It's a race just for children. I ran it when I was little and thought Britton might like it. He really did. He met a friend at the starting line and then we went to the finish line to meet him. It was a lot of fun to watch too. The girls went first so we cheered them on as they came through and then waited for Britton to come running down the 1 mile course. When we saw him he was so focused he didn't even notice us at first. He ran the whole race and is so proud of the medal he was awarded. At the finish line they have a fun party where the kids get sandwiches, frozen yogurt, cookies, cheese, fruit, yogurt, and chocolate milk. Benjamin thought the race was a great time too. He got to eat treats and even got a balloon animal. After the race we walked through the farmer's market down town and let the boys play in the fountain.
