Our last hoorah!

Benjer on the boat in his borrowed jacket. His life jacket is underneath
funny kid! It's hard to get a regular picture these days....
Me in a huge coat! It was so cold!
Britton and his crawdad. He was pretty proud of catching it.
Close up of the crawdad
Benjamin looks like Ralphi from A Christmas Story in this picture. This was his favorite ride.
I think this was the only ride our kids went on together
Britton looks ridiculously big in this picture. I have a picture of him from last year riding the same ride.
The family playing Head Bands. Britton's cousin got it for her birthday and it was a lot of fun! I think I might get it for Britton for Christmas

Britton starts school on Wednesday so we thought we would sneak in one last weekend of fun. I'm already mourning the fact that Britton will be gone all day. It's hard to believe. It seems like just yesterday that he was lovingly placed in our arms and now he is growing up and moving on!

Anyway, we wanted to enjoy his last weekend of summer together so we planned a trip to Utah. On Thursday we went fishing with Dustin's dad. I was certainly not prepared for the cold temperatures. Thank goodness they let us all borrow jackets. I was freezing! I don't think I've ever been so bundled up in August before! But, we all had a great time. Britton and Benjamin both caught 4 fish each and they were nice and big. Afterward we caught some crawdads with a net and then let them go. They were pretty cool.

Friday we met some friends at the Lagoon and had a great time. We also brought Britton's cousin, Kyla. As the day went on, the kids got braver. Britton rode some real roller coasters and even Benjamin was able to ride some pretty big rides.

Saturday Britton and Benjamin got to go to their cousins birthday party and then our family all got together for dinner. It was so great to see everyone. We all had a wonderful time!
