It's football season at our house. Britton started football a couple weeks ago and had his first scrimmage today. He really loves football. They practice twice a week for an hour and have games on Saturday. The kids are already die-hards. It has been freezing cold at every practice and on Thursday's practice the rain was blowing sideways and they were still willing to practice. Luckily the coaches had the good sense to cancel when the rain didn't blow over. Today was a nice day for a game. It was sunny at least. It was still plenty windy though. Our little athlete sure loves learning about the game and playing.

On a separate note, Benjamin keeps informing us that he wants to be a doctor when he grows up. Way to go Benjamin! He says he can help people if they break their neck. Not a bad idea. Of course he also told us when he grows up he is going to drive a big ol' monkey! That one had us laughing pretty hard. He's also talked about driving an ice cream truck. I suspect that is so he can eat as he drives, not so much for selling ice cream. Britton on the other hand, is still firm on becoming an NBA star. Why not?
