Yesterday was Britton's 7th Birthday and the day was all about him! All day I remembered how 7 years ago he was born and we became parents. It was such a big moment. I got to talk to Britton's birth mother and she posted the sweetest post about his birth on facebook. Britton got to talk to her in the evening too. She is so great!

Britton woke up to Krispy Kreme doughnuts and then we surprised him for lunch and brought him Chinese food. My parents and Dustin's cousin came over and we had a great birthday party. We made chocolate chip pancakes per Britton's request and then we opened presents. We got Britton a new bike and he was very excited. We also got him just dance for the wii. Watching him was hilarious. Actually, the kid can really move! He loved all the gifts he got from his grandparents and cousin Jennifer. It was a great birthday. Britton is so great. He is such a great kid. He's athletic, smart, funny, a good brother, and a good friend. We just love that kid!
