Camp Boise!

This year for our annual 4th of July camping trip we skipped the camping and stayed in town and did all sorts of fun activities with our family.  The highlights include roller skating, Roaring Springs, the Discovery Center, and minute to win it games. Some of the pictures will have to come later because my sister in law was the official photographer and I'll have to post again when she sends the pictures.  Dustin took some unofficial pictures though.  There's a few other events thrown in, but I had a lot of catching up to do.  It's been a very busy summer!

Britton got to join cub scouts when he turned 8. By his first pack meeting he earned his Bobcat and got a bead. This is him getting ready to drink the Bobcat brew.  It's an important initiation!

Dustin and I have been playing on an indoor soccer league. Dustin hurt his knee and foot so he had to sit a game out so he was the photographer.  This picture makes me look like I might actually be helpful to the team. Really, I'm not but it's been fun.  My sister is also on the team and since my brother was in town and Dustin was injured, we had him sub for the day. It was fun to all be on the same team.
My brother got put in the penalty box.  It was pretty funny

More minute to win it games. This one was fun.  The kids had a partner and one person wore a shower cap with shaving cream on it while the other one had a bag of cheetos.  The person holding the cheetos had to throw them and get them to stick on the shower cap. The partners with the most cheetos on their head after a minute wins.

My brother and his family stayed with us for part of the week. Before they left we lit fire works.  Our favorite one was the last one. It malfunctioned and exploded.  It was pretty great.
