Gingerbread House and our Elf

Tonight we decorated our gingerbread house. Unfortunately it had some structural integrity problems but we got it all decorated anyway. Britton enjoyed spreading frosting and putting candies on the house. Benjamin like eating candies and he even put a couple on the house too. It was a valiant effort. I'm sure the kids will start eating pieces of candy off of it as soon as it dries. We have also had an elf visiting us the last couple nights and they will be continuing until Christmas Eve. Yesterday our Elf brought the boys some things to make cards for someone they love. The boys had a great time decorating their cards. Even Benjamin had fun putting stickers on his. Today the elf brought Benjamin a Christmas book and Britton an Eye Spy Christmas game. They're really enjoying their visits from the elf and look forward to waking up and seeing what he has brought and what he wants them to do for the day. They're having fun learning, talking and sharing Christmas with others, which is exactly what we wanted! They're good kids.
