Letter to Santa
On Saturday we went to see Santa. Britton made it very clear that he did not want to see Santa. He asked me to talk to him for him because he was scared. So Benjamin went and saw Santa by himslef. He asked for snacks for his gift and we delivered the message that Britton wanted a remote control airplane but was too scared to ask. Santa said he would have to see. Benjamin blew a kiss to Santa and our turn was done. Britton wasn't very happy with Santa's response when we told him what he said. He could tell that Santa wanted to hear what Britton wanted himself. So Britton had the idea to write Santa a letter. He's a smart kid. Today I helped him sound out some words and spell some others for him and here is what he came up with. He really wanted Santa to know that his is 4.
"Dear Santa, I am 4. I want an airplane. -Britton" (he didn't want to write love, Britton). I was so proud! He's too cute. He was proud of himself too. This was the first letter he's ever written. Now we need to take it to the Post Office. They have a mail box just for letters to Santa. I'm sure Santa will get his letter and bring Britton his gift!

Cute! At our house we have a "magic mailbox" that delivers letters right to Santa. The elves even leave a treat in it if the kids have been good!
Britton you are a great writer! I am sure Santa will love your letter. We hope you have a great Christmas!
