Oregon coast vacation

Last week we spent a week on the Oregon coast. It was very relaxing and a lot of fun.  We stayed at Beverly beach in our trailer at a camp.  It was a perfect location.  It is right by the beach so we were able to ride our bikes several times a day to the beach if we wanted to.  We did spend a lot of time at the beach but we also went to some surrounding cities and Dustin and Britton went deep sea fishing one day.  We won't talk about that too much though.  Let's just say, Britton caught a ling cod, and 3 other fish and Dustin didn't do so well.  Not the best fishing trip.  Dustin did have fun watching Britton catch some big fish and Britton had a great time.  Our favorite days were spent at the beach flying kites, playing in tide pools and throwing rocks into the water.  We love the Oregon coast.  It is beautiful and one of our favorite places to vacation.
 The boys at Multnomah Falls

The boys loved this sea lion.  It kept coming over to them so they could pet him through the glass.

Caden loved the goats. He had his whole hand in their mouths.

We saw a lot of light houses.  So many that the boys were tired of them and didn't want to see any more.
A cool pine tree - Sitka Spruce
The boys at the Wild animal Park in Bandon.  Dustin's holding a baby caracal cat

 Benjer with a ferret
 Britton with ferret
 Benj with another ferret

Me with a possum.  I held this for my sister. She's terrified of them.
Dustin holding the red fox named Todd.  It was very cute

The wildest animal in the park.  Isn't he the cutest?
The boys and me with a baby bob cat. He was squirmy!
The boys with one of the baby bears

 Our beach loving Caden
His favorite thing was throwing rocks into a little creek that ran into the ocean.
Benjamin didn't care how cold the water was, he was going to play in it!
Britton loved the water until he got bit by some sand fleas.  They were mean and hurt and drew blood!
The boys both got new kites.  Britton got a 12 ft long dragon kite and Benjamin got a 4 ft long shark.

Dustin flying one of the kites. He has a stunt kite and got pretty good at it.

Caden at the Evergreen air museum in McMinville.  It's home to the Spruce Goose, which is huge!

Britton was so mad because he was too big to ride this ride so only Benjamin got to ride.  Brit didn't make it into any of the pictures because he wouldn't stay with us.  The boys ran off together and got lost enough that they had us paged.  It was a good time.
