Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! We had a great Christmas at our house. We started off with our traditional Christmas Eve feast of game hens and we each made a wish for the coming year and lit our candle. There were a lot of wished for good health, prosperity and a new baby at our house. After dinner we each got to open one gift, which is usually Christmas Eve pajamas, but Dustin didn't need anymore so he got a new blanket. His very own blanket! We have a soft blanket that we all fight over so Dustin got a new one that is just for him.

We read the story of Christmas and watched the short nativity movie, ate some yummy desert and headed home to get the kids in bed. Christmas morning came very early as we were woken up by Britton. Both boys were really excited to see what Santa brought them. Britton got a remote control boat and Benjamin got some dinosaurs that walk and growl. They had a great time opening gifts and were very grateful for each one. After opening gifts at our house we went to my Dad's house for brunch. While we were there my sister and her family arrived from out of town so we got to enjoy them for a while as well. After heading home for a much needed nap for Benjamin, we headed back to my mom's hose for the yummiest prime rib ever made! Then we had a great little pageant (more pictures to come), ate a delicious desert and finished the puzzle we had started Christmas Eve. We are all exhausted, but feel very blessed.
