U of I wins! Wow! It has been quite the week! Yesterday we were lucky enough to go to the Humanitarian Bowl to watch the University of Idaho Play against Bowling Green. Dustin and I are both U of I alumni so we were pretty excited. The last time U of I was in a bowl game and was doing well was when we were attending school, so we were really excited that they were finally doing well enough to go to another bowl game and that it was in Boise! It was also nice to see all the Vandal fans at the game. I don't think Boise State's stadium has ever been filled with so much black and gold. It was awesome! The game was pretty close during most of the game, but when Bowling Green scored another touchdown with 36 seconds to go, we thought the game was over, but we were still hopeful. Then U of I had an amazing pass, made a great play and then with 8 seconds to go, they made a touchdown! You could feel the energy in the stadium! U of I decided to go for the win and ran the ball in for the extra two points! We were jumping and screaming. It was so great to be there. I totally lost my voice. I have no idea when I'll be able to speak again. Britton just brought me a bell to ring if I need him to get me anything. What a sweet boy! We are raising some future Vandals so we got some pictures of all of us in our Vandal gear. Go Vandals! Now we can gear up to cheer for BSU in the Fiesta bowl. We have to support Idaho, right?
